The local public school district is Revere LSD. Revere Local School district, "The National School of Excellence," is located between the Village of Richfield and Bath, Ohio with the majority of the school buildings on Everett and Revere Roads. The district has four school buildings: Revere High School, Revere Middle School, Bath Elementary and Hillcrest Elementary. Located in northeastern Ohio between the cities of Akron and Cleveland, The district was formed in the early 1950's after the communities of Bath and Richfield voted to combine their two (2) smaller school systems. The consoloidation was approved and the new district was named Revere Local School District.
The Board of Education at that time purchased land for future use and over the next decade a high school, middle school and an elementary school were built. the district continues to use Bath elementary School and a substantial addition was added to that facility.
Over the ensuing fifty years, the district buildt and maintains a strong academic reputation with students performing well academically, artistically and athletically. The district has achieved an "Excellent" rating on the Ohio Department of Education's Local Report Card since this rating system was implemented in 2000.
The District's populations is a mix of professional, buisness and technical personnel who are proud of their schools. The household incom in the area is significantly higher than both the state and national average. Cuyahoga Valley Career Center
The Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC) was established in 1972 and offers cutting edge career technical High School Programs, Adult Education and Career Development. CVCC is committed to providing technologically advanced programs and equipment to provide the strong foundation that today's employers are seeking. On an annual basis, the CVCC serves tens of thousands of K-112 students, adults and employers through a variety of daytime, evening and weekend educational programs and community services. Their mission: "To prepare youth and adults to enter, compete and advance in an ever changing work world."
The Career Center is located one (1) mile east of the I-77/Wallings Road exit, diagonally across from Wallings Road on State Route 21/Brecksville Road.
