The Richfield Township Special Trustee Meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm on
November 14, 2002.
Roll Call: Trustees: Present – Shano Cica-Mraz, Laurie Gilmore, Robert Hooper
Clerk/Treasurer: Mark Uhrich
Others present: Village of Richfield Council members, Mayor of the Village of
Richfield, Eleanor Lukovics Village of Richfield Finance Director, Melanie Tibbs
Village of Richfield Service Director and Roger Swan Village of Richfield Zoning
Inspector.
Richfield Township Trustees attended a Village of Richfield workshop session to
discuss the Renovation of Town Hall / Township offices.
The Village of Richfield conducted some village business at the start of their
work session.
Ms. Mraz reviewed the project status from the Richfield Township viewpoint. The
project finances were discussed and to what degree the Township could
participate.
Ms. Lukovics inquired if the Township would accept a payment plan to the Village
that would reflect equal installment payments over a ten year period. For
example, if the Township’s share was determined to be $100,000.00, could the
Township make ten annual payments of $10,000.00?
Mr. Uhrich – Yes the Township would prefer a payment plan as you just outlined.
The Trustees will consider the options and affordability of the project and
communicate this to the Village.
Ms. Gilmore made a motion to conclude the special meeting at 8:55 p.m.,
seconded by Mr. Hooper; motion carried unanimously.
