SPECIAL TRUSTEE MEETING
DECEMBER 29, 2004
The Richfield Township Special Trustee Meeting was called to order at 1.15pm on
December 29, 2004.
Roll call: Trustees present: Laurie Gilmore and David Wyatt
Township Administrator: Linda Bowmer, Road Foreman: Jerry Schall, Laborer: Jason
Mays
In the absence of the Clerk, Ms. Bowmer took the minutes. Ms. Gilmore made a
motion to enter into executive session at 1:17pm to discuss personnel issues,
seconded by Mr. Wyatt; motion carried unanimously.
Ms. Gilmore made a motion to end the executive session at 2:05 pm, seconded
by Mr. Wyatt; motion carried unanimously.
Ms. Gilmore made a motion to accept the resignation of Jason Mays, effective
3:30pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2004, with the stipulation that he is paid for
eight hours work on both December 28th and December 29th at a rate of $14.00,
receives 40 hours of severance pay totaling $560, and be given the option of
COBRA at his own expense. Before payment of his last paycheck, Jason Mays will
be responsible for turning in his uniforms, cell phone, pager and staff
handbook. Motion was seconded by Mr. Wyatt; motion carried unanimously.
Ms. Gilmore made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 2:10 pm, seconded by Mr.
Wyatt; motion carried unanimously.
