RICHFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
June 22, 2004
The Richfield Township Trustees met in conjunction with the Rising Valley
Park Board at a Special Meeting, held at the Rising Valley Park Pavilion. The
meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m. on June 22, 2004.
Roll call: Trustees present: Shano Cica-Mraz, Laurie Peters Gilmore &
David Wyatt
Clerk & Zoning Inspector: Laurie Pinney
Ms. Gilmore addressed the attendees regarding information on types of speed
bumps and showed samples. Jerry Schall, the Richfield Township Road Foreman had
investigated several options and gotten prices.
Several residents and Board members spoke on the gate-closing decision and what
information had been used to make the decision.
Ms. Pinney stated that she would be able to arrange a courtesy review by staff
of the Summit County Planning Commission, similar to a subdivision site plan
review. Representatives from the Planning Department, County of Summit Engineer
and Summit Soil & Water Conservation District would be available to provide
input. The Park Board members were receptive to this review and Ms. Pinney will
make arrangements for a meeting.
Motion made to adjourn at 7:20 p.m. by Ms. Cica-Mraz, seconded by Mr. Wyatt
and received unanimous approval.
