SPECIAL TRUSTEE MEETING
OCTOBER 26, 2004

The Richfield Township Special Trustee Meeting was called to order at 1.10pm on October 26, 2004.

Roll call: Trustees present: Shano Cica-Mraz, David Wyatt and Laurie Peters Gilmore
Township Administrator: Linda Bowmer

In the absence of the Clerk, Ms. Bowmer took the minutes. Motion was made by Ms. Cica-Mraz to go into executive session to discuss land acquisition for public purpose with John Slagter, township legal counsel. Motion was seconded by Ms. Gilmore and received unanimous approval.

Motion to go out of executive session was made by Ms. Cica-Mraz, seconded by Ms. Gilmore, and received unanimous approval.

Ms. Gilmore made a motion to authorize Shano Cica-Mraz, as Trustee, to approach property owners to negotiate the potential acquisition of real property for public purposes, which contract would be required to be presented to the Board of Trustees for acceptance. The motion was seconded by Mr. Wyatt and received unanimous approval.

Mr. Wyatt made a motion to open a blanket certificate for land acquisition and to approve a level of spending of $5,000. Motion was seconded by Ms. Cica-Mraz and received unanimous approval.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 1.55pm by Ms. Cica-Mraz and seconded by Mr. Wyatt. The motion passed by unanimous approval.
