Richfield Township Trustees
October 25, 2005
The Richfield Township Board of Trustees met for a work session on
October 25, 2005 at the Rising Valley Park with the following in
attendance:
Laurie Peters Gilmore, Trustee Chairperson
David Wyatt, Trustee Vice Chairperson
Shano Cica-Mraz, Trustee
Linda Bowmer, Township Administrator
Laurie Pinney, Zoning Inspector
Service Department representatives Jerry Schall, Phil Hrusch and Jon Baker
Rising Valley Park representatives Frank Gindraw, John Paulett, Paula
Kramer, Steve Nagy and Chris Eastwood
Former Rising Valley Park Administrator Tom Johnson
Township staff will confirm with Gary Ellsworth of the Cleveland
Metroparks the date the Rising Valley Park property split between
Richfield and Hinckley Townships will be recorded.
The park board has regular meetings scheduled for November 1 and December
6.
Mr. Wyatt raised the possibility of looking at 501-C-3 requirements for
the park.
The trustees will likely have a 5-person park board and may also have
advisory liaisons.
The park board will continue to pay invoices until the township
property split is recorded and after that date all accounts will be closed
and Richfield Township will approve and pay invoices. No new expenses will
be incurred by the board
Chris Eastwood will come to the trustees November 17 meeting at 6:00 p.m.
to discuss his future position as an employee or independent contractor
for the township.
A motion was made to adjourn the work session at 6:00 by Mr. Wyatt,
seconded by Ms. Cica-Mraz and received unanimous approval.
