RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES TO PROVIDE ON-CALL PAY FOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES

WHEREAS, EMPLOYEES OF THE Richfield Township Service Department are required to be on call from November 15th through March 31st; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interests of the Township to provide compensation to these employees for maintaining on-call status during the above-referenced time period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Service Department employees of the Township will receive $500 in compensation for maintaining on-call status from November 15 to March 31, provided that the employee worked for the Township and was on-call during that entire time period. Payment of the $500 will be made to the employee on the next regular scheduled payday after March 31. Partial or prorated payments will not be made to employees who do not work during the entire on-call period.
