WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of Richfield Township, Summit County, Ohio has determined a need to continue programs to assist our senior citizens and handicapped residents with low and moderate incomes, and

WHEREAS, these groups would benefit from programs of winter snow plowing of driveways, emergency medical alert systems and a senior citizens center, and

WHEREAS, these programs would allow our elderly and handicapped population to maintain their independence and remain in their existing homes;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Township Trustees hereby authorizes Trustee Robert Hooper to submit Project Application for the 28th year Community Development block Grant and to execute contracts for this project.
