The Richfield Township Board of Trustees declares it necessary to submit to the electors of Richfield Township the question of levying a tax outside the 10 mil limitation and requests the Summit County Auditor to certify to the taxing authority the total current tax valuation of the district and the dollar amount of the revenue that would be generated by 2 mils for the purpose of placing before the electorate on November 6, 2001 a new tax for the benefit of Richfield Township for the purposes of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads and bridges.  This new levy would commence in the 2001 tax year with the first collection in 2002.
