RESOLUTION #20-2001
A RESOLUTION OF THE RICHFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR POLICE PROTECTION FROM THE VILLAGE OF RICHFIELD
WHEREAS, the Township currently maintains a Police Department and District providing Police Protection to the Township.
WHEREAS, the Township Trustees have reviewed the level of services provided by the Township Police Department and desire to contract for all Police Protection with the Village of Richfield.
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code Section 505.43 authorizes the Township to enter into a contract for all police protection.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of Richfield Township, Summit County, Ohio, that the Chairman of the Board of Trustees is authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the Township for Police Protection with the Village of Richfield in substantially the same form as attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A.
