RESOLUTION #22-2001
A RESOLUTION OF THE RICHFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT FOR POLICE DISPATCH SERVICES FROM SAGAMORE HILLS
WHEREAS, the Township has approved and will enter into a contract with the Village of Richfield for all police protection for the Township, and;
WHEREAS, as a result of entering into the contract for police protection with the Village of Richfield, contracting for dispatch services from Sagamore Hills will no longer be necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of Richfield Township, Summit County, Ohio, that the Board of Trustees terminate the contract for dispatch services that it had entered into with Sagamore Hills (a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A"), which termination will be effective at such time as dispatch services are provided under the Police Protection Contract with the Village of Richfield, so that no loss in dispatch service will occur.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Township Administrator and legal counsel are authorized to provide such necessary notices to effectuate the termination of the Dispatch Services Agreement attached as Exhibit "A" as provided herein.
