RESOLUTION #24-2001
A RESOLUTION OF THE RICHFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO DECLARE THE POLICE VEHICLES AND POLICE EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Township currently has five police vehicles ("Police Vehicles") and certain police equipment ("Police Equipment") which were part of the former Township Police Department, and;
WHEREAS, the Township Trustees have entered into a Police Services Agreement under which the Village of Richfield is providing all police protection for the Township, and;
WHEREAS, the Police Vehicles and Police Equipment are no longer needed by the Township, and ar4e surplus property, and;
WHEREAS, the Township hired an appraiser to determine the value of each separate Police Vehicle and the Police Equipment,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of Richfield Township, Summit County, Ohio, that the Police Vehicles and Police Equipment identified and attached here6to as Exhibit "A" are determined to be no longer needed by the Township and are surplus property. The Township shall proceed to dispose of such pursuant to R.C. 505.10.
