COMPLAINT TO THE OHIO TURNPIKE COMMISSION

WHEREAS, the Board of Richfield Township Trustees is aware of the increase in truck traffic and the resultant increase in noise since the Ohio Turnpike Commission has added a third lane in each direction at Exit 11 of the Ohio Turnpike, and

WHEREAS, the Turnpike Commission has taken out a buffer line of trees and shrubs which has increased the noise level to the residents on Stubbins Road, Farnham Road and Hecker Drive in Richfield Township,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board of Richfield Township Trustees hereby records its complaint on behalf of the residents in this area. Further this Board urges the Ohio Turnpike Commission to work with the Township Trustees in finding a solution to the noise pollution problem.
