RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO ROBERT HOOPER

WHEREAS, Robert Hooper was elected Richfield Township Trustee in 1997 and served a 4 year term with distinction,

WHEREAS, Robert Hooper was re-elected Richfield Township Trustee in 2001 with the overwhelming support of Richfield Township residents,

WHEREAS, Robert Hooper was instrumental in the development of Rising Valley Park,

WHEREAS, Robert Hooper chaired the Public Safety Committee which was responsible for establishing a comprehensive contract with the Village of Richfield for police protection which provided professional services to Richfield Township residents,

WHEREAS, Robert Hooper provided exceptional leadership and campaigned tirelessly for accurate representation of the eligible voters regarding the Township and Village separation matter to be heard in the Courts,

WHEREAS, Robert Hooper has always performed in a reasonable, level headed, unpretentious and consistent manner in all dealings with Richfield Township,

WHEREAS, circumstances surrounding the separation between the Township and the Village have made Robert Hooper ineligible to continue to hold Township office, and his departure will be observed with extreme regret.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the newly formed Richfield Township Trustees, thank Robert Hooper for his dedicated public service and many contributions to Richfield Township residents.
