RESOLUTION #06-2003

SUMMIT COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING STANDARDS
SUBDIVISION CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION PROGRAM

A Resolution supporting enactment of a subdivision construction inspection program by Summit County to be administered and enforced by the Summit County Department of Building Standards.

WHEREAS, the Trustees of Richfield Township recognize the need for the well being of the Township to coordinate inspection and enforcement of subdivision and on-site construction; and

WHEREAS, the Summit County Department of Building Standards has the construction enforcement authority enjoyed by no other department or agency of the County; and

WHEREAS, the Summit County Council has the authority in accordance with the County Charter to establish subdivision construction inspection as a duty of the Summit County Department of Building Standards;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Trustees of Richfield Township support the enactment of a subdivision construction inspection program by Summit County to be administered and enforced by the Summit County Department of Building Standards.
