RESOLUTION #07-2003

SUMMIT COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING STANDARDS
ON-SITE INSPECTION PROGRAM

A Resolution supporting enactment of an on-site inspection program by Summit County to be administered and enforced by the Summit County Department of Building Standards.

WHEREAS, the Summit County Department of Building Standards has the authority and means to administer and enforce an on-site inspection program; and

WHEREAS, no on-site inspection program exists in the unincorporated area of Summit County at the present time; and

WHEREAS, the Trustees of Richfield Township recognize the need to accurately locate structures on site in accordance with approved site and subdivision elevation, grading and drainage plans, to assure proper on-site construction in compliance with applicable codes and specifications and to enforce individuall sub-lot erosion control in cooperation with the Summit Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD);

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Trustees of Richfield Township support the enactment of an on-site inspection program by Summit County to be administered by the Summit County Department of Building Standards.
