RESOLUTION #11-2003

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF REVISIONS TO A FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE GLENCAIRN FOREST SUBDIVISION

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has reviewed the proposed revisions to a final development plan for the Glencairn Forest subdivision.

WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Appeals has reviewed the plan on March 17, 2003 and unanimously recommended approval of the proposed revisions.

WHEREAS, the proposed plan was reviewed at the Summit County Planning Commission meeting on December 20, 2002 and received a recommendation for approval from all agencies, including the Summit County Engineer, the Summit Soil and Water Conservation District and the Department of Environmental Services.

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has reviewed and recommended approval of revisions to the final development plan in 2001 that are essentially identical to the currently proposed plan.

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees finds the plan to be in conformance with all requirements for an R-4 Planned Unit Development as specified in the Richfield Township Zoning Resolution, subject to the Zoning Commission’s specific review of transcripts from the March 17, 2003 BZA dealing specifically with the issue of ‘single entity control”. This issue has not been adequately addressed according to this Board and the current residents of Glencairn Forest.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of Richfield Township, Summit County, Ohio, that the Board recommends approval of all proposed revisions to the final development plan for the Glencairn Forest subdivision, which recommendation shall be considered by the Zoning Commission during their review of the proposed revisions to the final development plan.
