RESOLUTION #04 –2003

The Richfield Township Board of Trustees declares it necessary to submit to the electors of the unincorporated territory of Richfield Township the question of levying a tax outside the 10 mill limitation and requests the Summit County Fiscal Officer to certify to the Richfield Township Board of Trustees the total current tax valuation of the unincorporated territory of the Township and the dollar amount of the revenue that would be generated by 3.60 mills. The tax will be for the purposes of police protection, will be a replacement of an existing 3.60 mill levy, and is authorized under Section 5705.19(J) and 5705.192, Revised Code. The existing levy is for a continuing period of time.
