RESOLUTION #15-2007

A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE SUMMIT AKRON SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY 

WHEREAS, the Richfield Township Board of Trustees is located within the Summit Akron Solid Waste Management Authority. 

WHEREAS, the Summit Akron Solid Waste Management Authority Board of Trustees prepared and adopted a final draft of the Solid Waste Management Plan in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3734.53 3734.54 and 3734.55. 

WHEREAS, the Summit Akron Solid Waste Management Authority has provided a copy of the Draft Final Solid Waste Management Plan for ratification to each of the legislative authorities of the District. 

WHEREAS, the Richfield Township Board of Trustees must decide whether it approves of said Solid Waste Management Plan within ninety days of receipt of the Final Draft Plan. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Richfield Township Board of Trustees: 

  1. Richfield Township approves the Summit Akron Solid Waste Management Authority Solid Waste Management Plan

  1. The Fiscal Officer is hereby directed to send the Authority a copy of this Resolution to the attention of Yolanda Walker, Executive Director, Summit Akron Solid Waste Management Authority, 12 East Exchange Street, Akron, Ohio 44308.

  1. That it is found and determined that all formal actions this Board of Trustees concerning and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Board of Trustees and any formal actions that resulted were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Sections 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Adopted in regular session of this   18th   day of    October   , 2007.
