RESOLUTION #17-2007

RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO SHANO CICA-MRAZ 

WHEREAS, Shano Cica-Mraz was elected Richfield Township Trustee in 1999 and served a 8 year term with distinction from January 2000 through December 2007, 

WHEREAS, Shano Cica-Mraz was appointed to the Advisory Committee to the Zoning Commission in 1998 and went on to successfully lead the fight against having an asphalt and concrete crushing plant in Richfield Township; 

WHEREAS, Shano Cica-Mraz assisted with rewriting the Light Industrial Office zoning district  and was instrumental in the negotiations for the Joint Economic Development District agreement which has allowed for a higher quality commercial development in the Township; 

WHEREAS, Shano Cica-Mraz provided exceptional leadership and worked to combine the Village and Township police departments for a cost savings and greater police services to residents, 

WHEREAS, Shano Cica-Mraz  brought to the position a working knowledge of township government and its restrictions, and work tirelessly for representation of all Township residents; 

WHEREAS, Shano Cica-Mraz has always performed in a professional, unpretentious and consistent manner in all dealings with Richfield Township,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Richfield Township Trustees, thank Shano Cica-Mraz for her dedicated public service and many contributions to Richfield Township residents.
