RESOLUTION #06-2008 
 

A RESOLUTION OF THE RICHFIELD TOWNSHIP BOARD

OF TRUSTEES TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH AA HOUSE MOVERS, A DIVISION OF KAZAK BROTHERS, INC. FOR BUILDING RELOCATION FOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES

WHEREAS, the Township of Richfield (the “Township”) provided a certain request for proposals to relocate certain buildings located at 3030 West Streetsboro Road, Richfield Township, Ohio 44223, to a township-owned property located at 3038 Boston Mills Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141, located in the Township of Richfield (the “Township Property”). 

WHEREAS, in response to such request for proposal AA House Movers provided an offer to move such buildings upon terms that were consistent with the request for proposal (the “Agreement”); and 

WHEREAS, the Township has reviewed the qualifications of AA House Movers and has determined that AA House Movers has significant experience in such relocation work; and  

WHEREAS, the Township has determined that the relocation of the buildings which are proposed to be demolished would further the interest of the Township and the community in protecting the environment; and 

WHEREAS, the Township Trustees have reviewed and approved of the Agreement, including having their legal counsel, Buckingham, Doolittle, & Burroughs, LLP, review the Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated by reference herein. 

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by the Board of Trustees of Richfield Township, that the Township Trustees are authorized to execute and enter into the Agreement on behalf of the Township.
