Rubbish Pickup
Due
to the Labor Day holiday on Monday,
September 6, rubbish pickup the week of
September 6th will occur on Saturday,
September 11.
The Last Chipping of the Season
is Monday, October 4th
The Township Service Department is pleased
to provide to Residents at no cost a Brush
Chipping Program for brush and limbs only.

New
Zoning Amendment
The Trustees approved a zoning amendment to
Section 509 entitled "Wind Energy
Systems” at their June 17, 2010 meeting.
The regulations will take effect on July 17,
2010.

wind turbines can be viewed at Baldwin
Wallace College in Berea, which has a 2.4 kW
turbine, 60’ in height; at the Cuyahoga
Valley Environmental Education Center on Oak
Hill Road, also a 2.4 kW turbine, 45’ in
height; at the Great Lakes Science Center in
Cleveland, a 225 kW turbine, 150’ in height;
Pearl Road Auto Parts (viewable from I480),
a 120kW turbine, 140’ in height. Note
that some of these turbines are located on
private or restricted property and should
only be viewed from the street, unless the
property owner’s permission is obtained.
