Absentee Voting
Summit County Board of Elections is moving all ‘in
person’ absentee voting from the Board of Elections
office to the Job Center located at 1040 E.
Tallmadge Avenue, Akron. All township residents
in Precincts Y&Z will now vote at the
Richfield Branch Library located at 3761
Grant Street. In person absentee voting
is open to any voter and will take place September
30th through November 3rd.
Voting absentee by mail is available by contacting
the Board of Elections at (330) 643-5200.
Flu
Immunization Program for 2008
As recommended by the Ohio Department of
Health, Richfield will again offer flu
immunization for residents. The vaccine is
recommended for children 6-23 months,
household contacts and out of home
caregivers of children less than 6 months
old, pregnant women, citizens 65 and older
and those of any age with chronic health
conditions.

Summit County Health District is a Medicare
Part B, Summa Secure, SummaCare Commercial,
Medical Mutual, Unison, Buckeye, Caresource
and Medicaid Provider. In lieu of the listed
insurances, there is a $25 charge for the
flu vaccine. No one will be denied services
due to inability to pay.
Flu and pneumonia immunizations will also be
offered at the Richfield Senior Center. The
charges are $30 and $40 respectively and may
be covered by Medicare.
