TOOTHPRINTS PROGRAM

Richfield Police Department, in conjunction with Elegant Dentistry, is sponsoring and assuming all expenses for a children dental identification system. This simple procedure provides a proven means of identifying children or using DNA and saliva samples for tracking purposes.

Children bite into a u-shaped wafer and the toothprints, along with a current school photo, are given to the pa rents in a sealed plastic bag for safekeeping. Although you can start off at any level, most dentists recommend that you take an initial impression when your child is age 3, repeating it at age 7 and again at age 12.
